The Repository of Education Expenditure Reports shows the different links to two types of national reports on education expenditure: budgeted or executed.
You can either:
- Navigate the repository
- Use the filters to select a country:

- From the ‘Region or Classification’ drop-down menu, select the region or type of classification of interest:
- UN Economic and Social Commission (EC Region);
- SDG regional group (SDG Region); or
- the World Bank income classification (WB Region).
- From the ‘Region or Classification’ drop-down menu, select the region or type of classification of interest:
All countries belonging to the region selected will be listed.

- From the ‘Country’ drop-down menu, select the country of interest.
- In the right panel, select the year of interest.
- Click on the circle to get a link and then click on the link.

The repository of education budgets consolidates open source information of documents on finance pertaining to the education sector for more than 100 countries.
The repository was built by performing an initial search of actual and budgeted education and total government expenditure on relevant government websites. Then, the UIS reached out country partners to obtain additional and pertinent information. All documents collected and publicly available were added and consolidated on an online repository.
